What is your favorite part about working at IDE?
That they care about their employees and want to develop them and see them grow not just in their work life but personally.
What do you think makes you unique as a team member?
My customer service mindset and willingness to learn.
What do you enjoy most about your job, and what are some of the challenges you face?
Enjoy- Getting to know customers and building long term business relationships that will help grow both companies.
Challenges- Trying to learn about the foundational drilling industry which seems to always have curveballs and variation for every job.
How does IDE support your professional development, and what opportunities have you taken advantage of?
-Management cares and ask about how we are doing personally.
-Constant help and support from our manufacturers.
-Several trainings at IDE Headquarters every year.
-Encouraged to attend industry meetings to develop.
-Customer focused mindset throughout the entire company, so sales feels confident when speaking with customers about our value.
How do you balance your work responsibilities with your personal life, and what strategies do you use to maintain that balance?
If I’m not traveling to visit customers then I get to work from home which my dogs and wife like a lot.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my wife and 4 dogs, I play hockey and like having friends over to watch sports or play poker.
If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why?
Australia, because of the wildlife and culture of the people who live there.
